Despite the fact that progress does not stand still, everything in the world is being modernized and renewed, man has not yet learned how to defeat worms. They do not decrease even after using new and effective medicines.
Each of the 250 known species of parasites in their own way negatively affects human health, causing various diseases with distinct symptoms unique to them.
Classify
To make it a little easier to deal with these parasites, people have delved into their research. There are several types of worms with similar characteristics and external data.
The first category includes roundworms. The latter combines flatworms, which include tapeworms and tapeworms.
Worms are:
- Contact;
- Biological anthelmintic;
- Cordyceps earth.
This classification depends on how they are introduced into the body and where they are distributed.
Biological worms
These are beef and pork tapeworms, echtnococci, cestodes and tapeworms. To complete their life cycle, these parasites need to change several hosts. They can infect insects, mollusks, crustaceans, fish and humans, eventually becoming carriers of helminths.
Geohelminths
These parasites include:
- Roundworm;
- Vlasoglava;
- Hookworms;
- Killer;
Such parasites do not need an intermediate host for normal development.
Contact
This group includes pinworms, from which people get sick from intestinal infections, and dwarf tapeworms, which cause hypohidrosis.
How can you get worms?
- Helminthiasis ends in a person by eating undercooked pork and beef.
- In raw or lightly salted fish, a broad tapeworm or opisthorchis may be hiding, as river and lake waters are rich in parasitic larvae that live in them. Usually, vacationers often make the fatal mistake of drinking, washing dishes or vegetables with such water.
- Earthworms, or rather their larvae, stay in the soil for a while, arriving there with the feces of infected people and animals. The new owner will soon come. Many people do not wash their hands outdoors or after working on land.
- Heartworm disease can enter a completely healthy person after contact with an infected person, if there are many dust particles with parasite eggs in the air, through dishes and household items.
Where do worms settle in humans?
Most adult worms settle in the colon. Pinworms and whipworms also find shelter there. In the liver are often observed clonorchis, oporchis, large liver fluke. They are all species of flukes.
They cause irreversible damage to the biliary tract and liver, forming cysts, from which the worms disperse after rupture.
Common Worms
The most common types of worms in humans are:
- Roundworm (causes ascariasis);
- Broad tapeworm (causes toxocariasis);
- Pinworms (enterobiasis).
People suffering from these close parasites have anemia, anemia and other disorders in the body.
- Roundworm disease can occur in a person after eating dirty vegetables and fruits.
- Diphyllobothriasis is caused by undercooked fish and caviar.
- Intestinal infections occur after contact with an infected person.
The development of worms in the acute stage lasts 15-65 days, the chronic process of worm infection continues 35-65 days after the acute phase. From the presence of helminths in the organs, they are pinched and mechanically damaged, both organs and adjacent tissues.
The process of converting the invasion of helminths into a chronic form entails a decline in immunity, which leads to fungal, viral and bacterial diseases. Usually, the invasion of helminths becomes the cause of cancer.
Signs of worms in adults
